Do I share my identity right away?
No. Every chat starts with only your initials, age and country, no full name, no photo. You decide if and when to reveal your name or picture, and your match decides for themselves, independently.

What's the 21-minute timer about?
Every chat begins as a 21-minute ephemeral conversation. In the final minutes, if you both tap extend, you unlock 60 more minutes, enough time to decide whether to add each other as a connection.
How do reveals work?
When it feels right, you can share your first name, and later your photo. Each reveal is a deliberate, opt-in tap, and each person chooses for themselves, nothing is ever revealed automatically.
What are connections?
If you both choose to connect after extending a chat, you become connections and can keep talking with no timer. Free members keep up to 3 connections; premium raises that to 10.
What is the Zunii Community?
The Community is a public, app-wide feed where any member can share a short text post or an image with a caption, and react to others. Posts are public to everyone on Zunii and show only your initials and photo, never your full name. The same reporting, blocking and moderation that protect chats apply here too, and you can report any post with a long press.
Is Zunii free?
Yes. Zunii is free to use. An optional premium subscription adds more daily matches, more saved connections and an ad-free experience, but you never need it to enjoy the core experience.

Chats use screenshot blocking, one-tap category reporting, instant blocking, and an automated enforcement system that issues warnings, cooldowns and suspensions, with safeguards against false reports. Zunii is strictly 18+ and every account is tied to a verified email.
What happens to my chats and data?
Chats that don't become connections are ephemeral, they disappear when they end. You stay in control of what you reveal, and you can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings in the app.
